Sitting in a corner with my hands bound to the safe
Cracking my head like combinations - 27, 16, 8!
I start to take a new shape, literally looking deformed
But I don't say a word I just wish to move forward
The phone rings and volcanic emotions begin to erupt

A calm voice came in my ear, negotiating my thoughts

Bullets answered, one in the knee, one in the shoulder
My eyelids are like my heart, boulders so i stay bolder
Growing older it just seems like a fair trade...
A brigade awaits, my life for what's inside the safe
I stay safe, cops rush in and get blown to bits
Innocent blood gets spilled and mopped with my wits
Time sits still, ticking like a bomb about to explode
Shadows erode, the sun rises to burn the road
Flowing like water, people flood and in and gather
To witness a sacrafice compared to one other
My jaw shattered, I whimpered but kept cool
All eyes on me, I heard my name on the news
Bruises healed my fears as I kept my family in mind
'Cause only I knew the safe, and what was inside
I sent them away today, when the skies were still blue
