William Nolan
Cuddled into JofusBear, Billy silently smiles and quietly dies.
His mother cries and sighs and then tries to say goodbye,
But Billy's eyes prise open - Showing life left in the little guy!
Holding Mummy's hand whispering "I will love you everyday,"
Then suddenly his grips fades, and Billy finally passes away.
NEWS REPORTER: May 4Th, 2006
"...Sir, William Nolan has touched the lives of the nation, and with tears in my eyes,
I can still see the pride in his face, an amazing case of patience, despite operations,
Any occasions he would fight the pain and break through cages of dangers again,
He was plain, and ordinary, the same but poorly, he was more than just a story,
He was more brave and extraordinary than any name I can recall, he's an angel,
And I cannot call him anymore that that, I am sure that he was sent from Heaven,
And I am sure, still pure, we sent him back. We can't applaud, and we can't clap,
We should pause and think that this little boy as a symbol of love and of freedom,
I believe in God, I'm here so we can hear him, everywhere we look, we'll see him,
We'll even read to him as we all did, grieve for this kid, this star, this credit of life,
Because he taught us to appreciate and respect, and never forget what's right..."
JAYNE NOLAN - (Billy's Mother.)
"...A happy charity worker, 11 years old, worth his weight in gold,
Desperate to keep hold. He was told life was minute-less at birth,
Yet, still lived limitless. Cursed by an illness he shared with millions,
He served and he filled his life with happiness, gladness, sadness,
Moments of madness, every question in life he had answered it.
He just couldnt keep hold of it, now this is more than just a eulogy,
Bold as poetry as I speak, told as true as you and me can ever be,
Though death was his early destiny, he's there and he's meant to be,
He is endless, be his friend's, lets remember him as tender, trusting,
Just forget his tumour, remember his humour which was stunning,
Think how he illuminated a room with loving care, so gentle, so rare,
Picture him running barefoot as he should of, he would of been cutoff,
But he put off death as long as he could of, he shut off when painful,
Pushed off life, caught by angels. Unable to fly, he's now capable,
And he is able and he is stable and he is watching down on us all,
And he know's that we are all on the ground to catch him if he falls..."
As he stand's all alone at Heaven's gates, Billy is in awe,
He see's the smiling face of God, asks what he's here for?
God extend's a hand, grab's Billy, says "well let's just see?
Come and watch the world go by and sit right next to me."
