To The Father I Never Knew:
(Collab)
Glory
To the Father I never had, and the stories you never told
The bond we’ll never have, and home she’ll never know
Sleep mother sleep, mourn not for what confides within
As we lay rest to memories and forge locks to silent sins
If not my mind listens, and ponders upon what is missed
Yet all is said and done, it goes not to what does not exist
To God its not but is, but we are shot so lets not forgive
Created in our father’s image I’m not but I mock what is
Subtract a man from Jesus, a man’s not what you see its…
An empty picture of a figure of men who’ll never be him
Its treason, worth himself a man more or less is wretched
With regret it, still remains at best an unmissed conception
As I’ve wept with to accept what’s kept as a brisk infection
Is that what you expect in, an undeserved birth to step in
A masquerade of moral lesson to test if my depths intrepid
Just get this, I am more a man than you beyond any meaning
Camrok
& it's being this fact, seeing your act, from season to season
my depths of knowledge grows, from your lack - and I reason
to make amends of a face, but not to the bond misplaced..
or never was, ever existed is a lie graved to your disgrace
To say, your were not a man, is in fact, it is what it is..
God & your soul knows, a man of wholesome faith was risen
Given from a seed, not meant to succeed, but secede a missing..
As I twisted to the right side, cause the wrong meant a prison
A man of honest values, family treasure, morals rated one..
not one to seclude himself, fate to escape - leave his only son
As an additive, I last to live, and create, a man of relations..
& subtract, a fault altered mistake.. to make just imagination
A creation of something, so profound, twas that you eluded..
A real man, from the seed of a man, much more well suited.
To the son I'll always have, the stories you'll forever know
The bond we'll always have, and love last forever shown.
