i closed the door when i saw you wake up;
your blinds were still open though.
the light showed me what i needed,
or it would have,
if i hadn't been so stupid
and closed the door before i could catch a glimpse
of life in your eyes.

this was the last poem i would ever write about you,
i promised, remember?
i guess you never heard me.
i broke that promise a thousandfold and lost another muse.
next time you wake up,
i'll be sure that you can see my face.

I've never seen you drop in here, not that i would know since i havent
been here all that long, but none the less it's nice to see. Anyways,
this wasn't bad at all. I liked it actually. Had that stalkerish vibe to it
or secret admirer type thing going on, lol. I wasn't feeling the first part all that
much, it did paint the picture though which was good, but the second part
or stanza or whatever i was diggin.

really liked that part, portrayed perfectly the subject's, which im assuming
is a male, obsession with this girl who would never realize she was
a point of inspiration for him. Regardless, good stuff man. hope to see something
more lengthy from you in the future. Something i can really get into
