    To "Heart of a Champion"

    Spent days amazed at how the game is played
    Competitors slayed, debts left unpaid
    Well, today, is my day to conquer the game
    And leave everyones feeble chances slain

    Tearing through show downs
    Combinations unbeatable
    Stoic movements turn to slow frowns
    As I unseated dudes

    Finals approach, nerves explode
    Saliva disappears, stomach acid corrodes
    Dealt my two hopes, its my only shot
    Will my luck carry, or literally flop?

    Everyone's equal, chances to win the same
    4th street comes... throwing a wrench in the game
    The river is coming with everyone in the same boat
    A full one at that, I'm beginning to lose hope

    We reach the river, I believe my chances are blown
    I'll go... all in... after realizing my ace in the hole
    And when its shown.... and they see what I had...
    My royal flush... proved I had the "Heart" of a champ

    that was good. nice structure and vocab. some lines didn't rhyme and that maybe the only negative. nice flow and ya came wit it easily. good job.

    Alright, this piece was rather predictable. I mean you are fairly fluent with rhyming and have an understanding of structuring your work its just the words you use to rhyme with seem a bit like i said (predictable)

    the topic seemed to approach an original concept but the subject matter was to weak to make a strong piece.

    Unseat dudes an unbeatable dont rhyme...they dont even have the same no. of syllables...liked the imagery tho...

    I liked the first bar...very descriptive...I could take or leave the 2nd...not bad...but brings nuttin to the piece...
