Maven & Dem - Stealing Infants

Wandering and Pondering on the spiral staircase of my mindscape
sauntering with permanent Sharpies on their face; where I signed fate
I combine hate and love into a high definition visual
my mind's weight delves into a simple switching ritual
Not being an individual, programmed like microships from the womb
trying not to come too soon when the idiot box will see you through
and be true too...if you can locate the needle in the haystack
destroying early innocents with feeble ads for big cash paybacks
it used to be playing outside, now kids are locked within a hell; home
and from the cradle, life support consists of Fido cellphones
wait for life and sell gnomes; the children who couldn't grow up
the media inducing vomiting, only knowledge is what they throw up
there's no bib to catch it; in it's place is society's future
polluting minds and mother nature, if we don't desist we'll lose her
stopping to smell the roses emit the aroma of fresh wet cement
and yet a Cable modem is perceived as equal to heaven sent
and it shatters what is literally a Paper Mache nation
TV Networks are the pin causing the deflation of a generation
and I'm longing for opinions, the dominion where we're free
so cross the border with me...Kid, turn off your damn TV

Innocent psyches appeal to the beacon of adherent hysteria
to not care about us? it's apparent we're in fear of inferior
This imperial intimidation ingesting souls, a makeshift Satan
embracing mindframe cadence with protracted arms as information
Fact instillation, watch gullibly until the moment of truth
when it's all unveiled that dishonesty was their token of proof
Thats hope in a suit, but fate doesn't place us at the controls
where this super highway drives us insane and is after our goals
It masters our mold 'cause adolescence is so simple to influence
fabricated excellence with tabloids to stickle those sins to us
It tickles those Mensa doubts before their adept is determined
children are befouled by this media then are left to just worsen
Apex of this purpose to curve us into a worthless sea of sickness
believing faux depictions as seen descriptions of evils giftlist
Its intriguing to witness destined fallacy through a minor vacuum
there Omega unloads outcomes and life's the tyrant that slaps you
We all need to grow up, except for these kids thinking immoral
they'll be role models in a world where we're all extinct in a torso

I think I'm going to go find everything you've written and read it. Flow, vocab both excellent. Message although repeated often is still important and was expressed more eloquently than normal. So many quotables...
"it used to be playing outside, now kids are locked within a hell; home

to mention just a few and you just killed that last line:

The only way I see that piece getting better is if you posted it twice. Hit something in my sig please, preferably Broken Metamorphosis if you haven't yet.

i think both these went well together.... very alike, scheme wise, but i disagree bout the flow,,, it was good in both, but i thought just a few lines could have had the amount of syllables revised.... jus my opinion, but... the vocab coundnt be faulted along with the wording, smooth transitions too.... but i think the best thing was the actual concept of the topic, what it was saying.... made it an interesting read..... tight stuff...
