i read both twice i would have to say my vote goes to.........dev he took this topic to a more serious approach...and used "the yellow brick road as a symbolic reference to lifes path that everybody takes ....i could connect mentally with Dev poem but that could be that i am a girl who know anywho...

Sorry to say, but that line ruined your piece, Evolve. Maybe it's just me, but pieces related about girls always finish up in relatively the same manner. Sorry, but I just couldn't get into your piece. On the other hand, Dev came nice, but he didn't go the full way to make his verse dope. He had the potential though, with lines such as,

okay after reading this, I would have to go with dev, don't get me wrong evolve I laughed at your peice it was pretty funny, the only thing is I like the ending of dev's way more and the creative approach he came.. so I found his piece stuck more to the topic, and I really thought it was a good piece..

Good verses from both...evolve had a nice key...and some nice emotion and imagery but dev came very complex with creative lines good emotional lines and some dope imagry
