I’ve seen both them dudes battle live and chopped it up with Illmac, he’s super chill. Just saw him vs. Real Sikh in Houston for TBL Apollo earlier this year. Saw Bigg K when had that fire ass first vs. Rum in Oakland on KOTD.

I don't care eithr way, I'm used to LLL votes where dudes would just abbreviate the bars they liked with a short few sentences followed by a vote. If I'm unhappy with shit someone says in a break down, aint nothing I can do about it anyways.

It can be enlightening to have the insight of what specifically could be tweaked or adjusted within a concept/punch/bar, in order to improve it and have one’s writing go over better with readers/voters in the future.

The point of that (at least imo) vote/breakdown style has historically been to assist with elevation. Generally speaking, battlers wouldn’t know what to improve upon or how to do it unless they were given real feedback on the bad lines along with the good.

It might be kinda moot here in 2025, when text battling as a space/realm isn’t what it once was or whatever. But I still think it’s a good thing to not be lazy with votes. I personally will try to be more constructive and less harsh sounding when I vote on everything this week. If anyone gives a shit lol.
