that's actually possible but not just by clicking on a link, you would have to execute something and by then you would know something is fishy and get the fuck off my shit. a common tactic would be a java drive by they call it, like saying something like your computer is at risk click to download software to fix it, you run that software, and I have a rat on your computer.
