@Ryno for a better answer, Fresh decided to blow up on people like Zelph, Spree and Mac mid battle for telling him bacterial / back to real was goofy and a reach so he justifiably got DQ'ed ... All the while I'm being told I'd be booed out of a comedy club for some reason

At the end of the day tho I think the situation will be healthy in the long-term. Mac's earlier post was pretty spot on tbh

For some (and to be fair, not all) this place seem praise and hold in high regard just utterly ridiculous wordplay sometimes and it's a style preference turn off to people who look in from other sites (i.e. Resin and Hush and other tenured guys from elsewhere that have had good runs here)

RB itself is a little bit of a bubble because of the fact that over half the competitors will not only let a goofy wordplay like the aforementioned slide, they'll actively call it good and set that benchmark moving forward. Whether that's good , bad or indifferent thing to this sites collective is up to you guys, but I think it's a fair observation in light of both recent examples and based on the style evolution of this site since 2009

Perhaps I brought it on myself by coming back here and trolling the league with goofy wps for the portion of this season ... But now i have to listen to "Slayerr" tell me I don't know what I'm talking about because I defended myself about my opponent coming after me and voters for a back to real / bacterial bar??
