I have always respected you as a writer, I've never denied that. So I am not sure why this is all such a big deal tbh.

My point about the HOF part of that was that I honestly could careless about having some LLL thingy underneath these dumb medals ... I care about some of my finest work being respected

I do want to mention something I've noticed personally with regard to the current "text scene" (if there is such a thing anymore...)

I think the better writers have become so used to getting praised and voted for, that it's almost a shock to them when they see legitimate criticism or someone doesn't automatically "get" their punch (or even just see it the way they do)

Let's be honest.. there's little to zero talent left in this shit.. and for years now the same people have been stomping out these "contenders" with no real effort.. when someone of a higher caliber rolls through who isn't in their circle and expresses hard to argue with criticism, it kind of "breaks" their ego for a minute. Which messes with most people, especially with 'rappers' - if we can call them that in this case..

Now I'm not claiming to be the authority on all things that matter text-wise... but I came up in a different era.. where the competition was the fiercest it ever was, with the best textcees from around the world all battling for recognition. Yes, we were still learning/evolving.. and the overall expectations of punches have changed.. but nobody was more scrutinized than we were. It was just.. a different time.

So when I see the league the way it is now, with some of these kids who would honestly never be allowed to even POST in LLL.. and they're actually IN the league.. well, it's hard for me to take things seriously. It really, really is.

I do agree the bad is real bad nowadays tho.. and theres certainly more of a myriad of styles and style preferences then there was back in the day

Never had the time to properly text on two sites at once. You know, career, family, music etc

Every time I thought, sure I'll sign up on RM too or NC too I'd end up no showing because I didn't have time to drop two dope verses in one week plus run a crew plus be in the 1-2 plus do mags or mod or whatever the fuck else I was involved with at the time on RB
