I went Manchester last night and went to Revolutions and other clubs along the strip. Worst place I've ever been for a night out lol. The bouncers think they're part of the mafia who own the place. Utter scumville.

Yeah sounds like you were unfortunate enough to find the expensive and bad side of Manchester actually, shame because we're actually a sick night out if you know the city. Manchester's got a few different "nightlife areas" that cater to different audiences, student bars up near Oxford Road, Northern Quarter near Picadilly with the Gay village in between. Then at the "posh" end where all the business is and nice apartments are you get where you were. Liverpool's a mint night out as well actually, go on Skiddle before you head out there and you should be able to find a night that's catered to what you want. Some cities can be amazing or shite depending on which bar/club you head into and Liverpool's just as bad as Manchester for that. Oh and everyone's bright fuckin orange there too.
