It doesn't though lol I still live in Ireland. It's in the name :/ I'm just not part of the Republic of Ireland. A lot of people here call themselves Northern Irish...which means they are Irish lol Some say British, which is cool, but Scotland is a British country too, nobody says they are not Scottish. Nobody says North Koreans are not Koreans. It's such a dumb convo lol if you live on the island of Ireland, you are Irish. The only distinction between the two is which side of the border you live on.

Imagine this tho....in all of Northern Ireland, there are only 2 million people. They could all fit in to New York City more than 4 times over. Both the north and south's populations combined is around 6 million people. Still 2 million less than New York City. I don't think Americans realise how enormous their country is lol

Scandinavia, Northern Europe. Scandinavian countries are generally the best ran countries in the world. The best education, the best life expectancy, the most peaceful, lowest crime, etc etc etc.
They are pretty great. Scandinavia - Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and to a lesser extent Finland and Iceland (strictly speaking they are nordic countries and not scandinavian but they are associated with the others nonetheless)

They do all speak English. Most European countries speak two languages, their own language and English. They speak it really well too, I guarantee in Denmark they speak better English than most people in England lol
