I had to give a huge speech and award it too him, because I was his coach.
And no, I didn't select him lol. He was voted in buy all the coaches of the division/ACC - DFL league.

He have any previous martial art background?
I train him how to box, considering I did it growing up for 15 years. Almost went professional but then he was born.
Between, school, work and him.... NO time - had to give it up.
Still train tho, 3 - 4 times a week at the GYM and whenever I can ,I take him with me.
BUt he does Tia Kwan Do as well. He hates it tho.
He rather BOX.
Dope. I boxed for a few years myself. Its the easiest form of martial art to learn. I hate jump roping though lol.

His hooks are good...
over hands are lethal... He has a lot of leg strength from wrestling....
A lot of your punching power comes from the legs... so he has some deadly upper cuts too.
Jump roping is just conditioning... there are a million alternatives... I just have him doin toe hops up and down a flight of stairs...
Jump roping is also good for foot work. so it really isn't a necessity.
He's 11 years old tho... and he's really good. He wants to start competing... since he really can;t compete in MMA as of yet except the gracy school tournaments they throw here and there in which he already placed 1st in one of them.
