Saving private Ryan was a great movie but it lacks elements from World War II. I felt America had the right mindset when it came to World War II. Even though we've had our flaws, our generals and soldiers were much more skilled and trained, plus our flanking maneuvers were great when it came to being a sitting duck

Ww2 started in 1939 and United States didn't join until 1941 after Japan struck pearl harbour.
U guys sent in shit loads of soldiers where as canada and Britain had better trained troops that didn't require as many troops, or casualties.
Last I knew the Canadians got slaughtered when it came to storming beaches with the British & The U.S... But that's just what I heard.. Were from two different countries and are knowledge on things are way different.
