This season has taking a turn in an awkward direction. I typically can sense and feel where the story line is headed. Not this season, weird.

I disagree. Last season was horrible. 1, 2 and 3 season were good. This season is weird as fuck and I have no clue where they are going with it.
1st season was decent. I didn't like the Hershel farm shit very much. The jail was cool for a bit but it got old fast
Eh... Season 4 was bad, tho. That shit was ALL over the place, IMO. This season seems like it's a little better but awkward. Like, I'm not sure in which direction it's headed, lol. Especially after the past episode.

I thought breaking up the group to have separate story lines was smart.
