what would u have done different?

and exactly how many battle league playoffs have u been a part of?

I've been part of plenty of playoffs, both on and off the internet. You don't have playoffs here. You can't call them playoffs with over 60% of the first round being no-show. Because now the seeding is jacked, and you can't be sure if people deserve to be where they are. Some people lost 1st round because they showed up and now people who may or may not be "worse" get to move on. Your tournament has already fallen apart.

And if you didn't have an ego bigger than Joe Boston's forehead you'd have read that I have MORE THAN ONCE said that them no-showing wasn't your fault. But you go full retard and can't get past this "tough guy badass vet legend" gimmick that you have to remain civil. You didn't "son" anyone, you just make yourself look like a toddler kicking your feet on the ground screaming over nothing.

how i understood u was that u were saying people got left out so that vets could get in. which is complete bullshit. 100% complete bullshit.

then u said i didn't make it welcoming to battlers that aren't vets...which is irrelevant. playoff spots depended on your in-season record, all anyone had to do was sign in.

again, what would u have done different?? tell people who earned a spot in the playoffs that they can't be in?

From your standpoint, I wouldn't have done anything different. I probably wouldn't have taken the risk on chronic no-showers but that's hine-site which happens.

I didn't say, or at least didn't mean, that YOU personally weren't welcoming. This site as a whole isn't really welcoming to people who don't immediately fit into what's considered "good". And people hold others entirely too high, for example the stuff with KnowP offering to step down because Alphabet (I believe it was Alphabet) is a "vet" and wanted a spot.


I agree that the playoffs should have been determined off people that were in the league, but you KNEW there would be a lot of no-shows.

I suppose in retrospect you could have done a wild-card. Cut out the chronic no-shows, and see if there were 4/8 other battlers who would want to battle each other for 2/4 other spots in the playoffs. Then you'd still have the numbers to make the tournament entertaining while having a more reliable roster.

again i'm the only one who runs the league, so it sounded like u were laying that at my feet to me. but i actually agree with u on that point.

and a wild card would have been a cool idea, definitely something to consider in the future. just try me when i say this round was doomed either way. the only reason i tried 16 entrants was because this will most likely be the last LLL season for a while, so i wanted to give more people a chance to get involved. unfortunately that meant me gambling on dudes i wasn't confident would show.
