Couldn't agree more. I do a lot of graphic design with my job, it's tough for me to transition from the minimalist "professional" look to the more "urban" board graphics haha.

do you have a degree in graphic design?i want to work with graphics but dont want to go to school. i just need to get to where i used to be.. thinkin bout tjust making a portfolio once i get back on my game then sending it out with a resume just to see what happens.

No I don't have a degree in graphic design. I'm a campaign analyst for search engine optimization/marketing. So I sometimes have to build websites. A degree isn't exactly necessary but graphic design is so over-saturated that it's tough to get a good position doing Solely that. Instead of a portfolio build a website to showcase your stuff.
