This is everyday, simple and plain living life right in every way
some may say, perfection is contradictory like hot snow in may
pray to the unknown, just in case god can save my soul
controlling the unforseen is impossible is what im told
many try valiantly to mold minds of better men
prying them like crowbars opening minds exposin’ them
imposters posing as prophets manipulating persuasion
suppose by sayin’ superficial facts are false personification
aimed at placing poor phoney people on preposterous pedestals
I will become subject to societal subjection, hear names called
fall into the depths of a sham, project societies image on what I am, convert my strands
disband from my true self, completely conform and execute societies popery pompous plan
I know what I am and understand that I don’t need be like everyone else
because my family and morals let me determine my own sense of wealth
now the populous has me in a perpetual paradox
I can conform or form my own feeble thoughts
im a haver out having the have-nots, distraught
projecting plots to punk prejudice Trent Lott
spots of commercialism delude an honest cost
got cheap shots running the print shops
melting pots and theories of coexisting
formed by the media leave me sinking
thinking why do we need to be reminded
blind men findin’ what is visibly ill-minded
racism, hate, aggression and fear, draw tears
shoot still photos of grey matter with lost years
bares the resemblance to propaganda
red bandanas similar to peeled bananas
the clothes we were determine what we are inside
and if everybody were to strip we’d reveal mankind
we are universally the same in most aspects of life
yet some segregate depending on damage outside
why do we care if the skin has a bruise
accept that they’re flesh is as real as u
take turns learning from different cultures
cultivate ways to mold conniving controllers
order the ones ordering instead of ordering more orders
visit the borders instead of sorting disorder with mortars
quarters have two sides alike all things that keep us alive
best learn both before you judge what to do with our lives
