Phylmo's first verse I've read that was readable, as far as not being "too UKish" language. It was also a very impressive verse... the wordplay was on point in a lot of cases. It honestly reminds me of my own style as far as the wordplay. It was smooth & hard hitting, not pointless like how a lot of less experienced heads tend to use wordplay just to use it. The childproof wordplay mixed a personal w/ a wordplay which is one of my favorite techniques. Spits shit, on the other hand, I found to be.. some of it decent, some of it good, none of it bad... but overall, not enough to beat Phylmo. I'm surprised because I thought Spit was miles better than Phly.

So overall i got the feelin that spit came average by his standards a few decent lines thrown in, but a few mwh ones as well. nothin was too creative, honestly spit i thought your verse against me was a lot better than this drop. it was good but by your standards not ya best. Plhymo came out with his usual wordplay but this time mixed it up with some personal elements at the begining, phly ya first 8 or 9 bars were all at a higher standards than spits verse, after that the last third of ya verse fell of a bit, not as harsh or swaggery but it was still ok. i got phly by a fair margin.

damn this was a dope battle. I quoted everything that at least made me smile and was well-worded.

I thought Spits verse'd be hard to beat, but in the end what it came down to is consistency. Normally Spit wins there, but you could tell Phlymo was not havin any filler, he obviously put a lot of thought into every line. The difference was that Spit had a few throwaway lines, like the closer which's been done several times in LLL and he took the battle a bit less seriously than Phly. Again, Spit had more swag, but Phly had a couple of really harsh clever well worded hits, and just out did Spit in consistency.

this battle was pretty good, but for 30 lines wasn't really consistent from either honestly. Spit just came a bit too generic here, alot of lines that seemed touched on, '' tight for a pussy'', ''outta wack'', ''wack as fuck''. All those were worded well but conceptually weren't as complex. I felt Spit didn't write as well as usual, and anticipated him coming with a harsher and more personal style. Phlymo, I thought you had 6-8 pretty nice lines, most of the verse was solid, but I wasn't as much of a fan of some of the wordplay choices here, I didn't feel they added alot to the verse. However, I felt creativity wise you were clearly better in this battle, you also executed well and had some pretty good humour, and a few good personal shots too. Congrats to both of you for making it this far, you both had nice late season runs and this was a pretty nice finale.
