The car tires blowout, and alarms sound .. streets flash
From lamposts fallen down and electrical .. heat blasts
Screams creep with deep black, skin burns and peels back
Dreams turn fiend and swallow my sorrows with freakish laugh
My knees grab the pavement I've been slayen' and impailed
I glance to my arms, only to find a pulsating arrangement of nails
My heart is pulsating, and when all the rage entangled fails,
All we'll have left is the tears.. bottled and dranken like ale
I'm drunk off my sorrows, the secret has etched in stone
Engraved in my mind.. six-feet-deep it lies restless and cold
But my trust has caused this suffering, buildings turn ash
Spindles crack windows and explode into one million halves
There is no escape, sewer grates travel at neck level,
Garbage, recycle and loose rubble conspire wind tunnles
The secret is safe with me.. I will never leak the proof
My lips are shut .. mouth closed I'll never speak of you
And the devil may testify, but in this court I'm one to sin
Sold my soul for more than gold.. but the truth behind
-my love for him.
And as this chunk of earth crumples with disease
My secret is visible;
Above my eyes and cheeks
