Rhymin' and Main Street

This is for fun. Hope you like. If you catch the rhyme scheme which is not ABAB you'll like a lot of the cool individual rhymes, I hope, I tried to connect but I just had a lot of jumbled up stuff to put together, this is pretty much a freestyle that I edited.


I'm drivin' the speed limit-
Collidin' with each gimmick,
To each tryin' to see the
Plea Buyin - The Free Clinic...

And he's in It -
The shit, the circumstance
The script that says to preach it---
These years collegiate swervin' plans...

My nerves and hands are sweatin'
and Itchin'---
Expectin' my new contestant
is swishin'---

Who's the best and precision
Is undressed when decision is
Made to do away with a
Flexed exposition...
Supressed and the play is
a Suflet to perplex the prediction...

Stress ammunition is needed,
From permission to pleaded,
Receded to Attacked,
Submersed, smacked, Retreated...

Deleted like the file of your shame,
Flee from pride, Completely hide
The Whore Sherade...
This poor Brigade made a
Mile out of a Foot---
So Fight, let this Reunite
The Style and Put-

A smile on your face,
Redial, implore, paste
Pictures on walls,
and Posters in Frames---
No coasters for Drinks,
Winks, And Handshakes to Claims...

And banned spaced grenades,
With black canned mace with eggs-
To throw at your mom's house
With a man's taste for steaks...

This land's based with apes,
Expanded with lions-
New races like beyond places
The Clay is formed from Babylons to Zions...

I'm grabbin' on to try 'em,
Whatever guns they make-
Refund my shake-
Chocolate? I just bought it,
Vanilla is the real Killa's Trait...
Surreal still the state
of a Dream in which I seem
To See Hate...

Esteemed bait,

It did have a cool flow... but at the same time, the setup made it harder to follow. Obviously was a "stream of consciousness" piece, so I can't really comment on the content much. It was different... refreshing though.

I really enjoyed this because it gives off that feel of sporadic inspiriation based in rhyme. Nothing profound about it, just that glimpse into your personal process of laying the groundwork for a piece. Out of all the kids who claim the "this was a 10 mintue keystyle" status, this was far above. The rawness makes the reader able to take on any idea and go off on tangents himself; sparking cyphers of their own. It's interesting to me how you have that academic hipster swagger, weaving in words like suflet into a heavily hip hop inspired approach.
