The Streets We Walk
the city's coursing veins the streets
you could feel the tension like heat
only 100 feet across from each other
cars and alley ways as cover
a gentle late evening mist hovers
the vibrating beat of feet increasing
the hour of moon has risin for feasting
soon blood would feed the storm drains
killing in the name of in vain
a stain on so many young souls
tainted to remain in lost control
a savage demon lives among them
ravages there dreams at the stem
send the wrong mixed messages
bends and contradicts
with venom dripping from there souls
the children of the night patrol
stroll the dim lit avenues
blood on there knives the only revenue
few see throught the built fasad
each night they pray to god
that the killing will some day stop
that the bodies will no longer drop

A mix of half-breeds mostly white
a few black among them in the strife
they fought with club and knife
slice to kill with only a few guns
the family ties run deep in these sons
asleep at the rise of the sun...
they vow a brotherhood

and they knew that lonely road

suspected to be east they didn't care
a steady glare of a predator on every man
they stand staggered only held by a clan
though strong they lack companionship
dog eat dog relationships
they each had a gun... though numbering less
the brood never forgot the past they where blessed
or cursed... to fight there rivals
the streets a place of survival
they didn't know how it all began
but now the blood steadily ran
a storm of shots echo off buildings
it begins a tantrum of death reigns
gains momentum and never seems to end
as if time itself could stop and bend
angels don't come often.. hell they send
souls never to be mend, Satan taken
becoming a tortured forsaken
today the west lost less
but nothing has transgressed
east still outnumbers and slowly advances
the dance of pistols at every glance
a trance holds the people not knowing of peace

Tonight i watched my brother die
not a clan member my own blood i cry
with a beaten sigh, i lift my head
the rain streaming away tears bled
he always said he would fall for us
but trust was never broken or rust
with a gust of breath i remeber...
as a renegade took him and dismemberd
with machety he hacked my brothers arms
i was meters away unable to undo harm
eventually it was all over
i slit the other mans throat
spit on his corpse as rage words i spoke.
holding my brother in my arms
his spirit faded as he whisperd

very nice drop here homie...i didnt see anything majorly wrong..you had some off lines..but made up for it the lines after...had some really good flow..pretty long but had a nice strutre for a smooth read..some good multies..but couldve been more..the topic was alright i gotta say its kinda played but you kept your drop on point and pretty creative with this kinda topic...keep up homie..hit up an om of mine please.

yeah good content twista.flow was in need of some serious attention tho coz it diddnt have much impression in that sense to me. but story was unfold str8 and to the epoint so i did feel certain aspects of this joint f'sho. and it had mos def coo poetic imagery. which cud b sharpened sum mo i guess. so
