just somethin i keyed up for write of passage III today.

Time Is Money?

i find it funny, cuz..
if time is money, why's my mom stay prayin still?
why's she worked all her life but can't afford to pay the bills?
it ain't somethin i'd say is real cuz i don't believe it helps
if time is money, why do poor old folk buy dog food to feed themselves?
and no i don't agree with what jesus tells, i don't look forward to mass
why people go to church all they lives when it takes more of their cash?
i see whores when they pass, the reason that i'm asking this
if time is money, why can't all the times they sold their bodies buy happiness?
money's not exactly lasting bliss or i'd be rich for every time i bothered to cry
if time's money, why can't i buy some of it with my grandfather who died?
before i was around to talk to the guy, cuz now he is a ghost
if time's money, why can't i put it in a trust fund for when i need it the most?
i think it's a gimmick created by politics and i ain't feeling it's fair
if time's money, why was paris hilton BORN a fucking millionaire?
this bullshit won't stop, it's somethin we need to take action in

it's almost like we have to sin, just in order to introduce ya riches
cuz immoral shit like porn is what's really gonna produce it quickest

Those lines stood out. This was pretty nice and insightful, as well as deep. I've thought of this metaphor a lot too, and with this piece you nailed it. It flowed pretty well too, and a few inner rhymes helped the piece. Above average piece.

a pretty decent drop...i think the reiteration got a bit boring though..starteing so many lines with if and I..wasnt the nicest way to deliver it..but still had lots of good content and nice rhymes

Other than all this, I'd say your multis were decent, structure was well, and opening few lines hit it pretty well. I enjoyed the read... serious. Hey, i liked reading that... was really good, and to me, that was a whole new topic, the title was very appropriate, this was a dope drop... and looks like others have already said it was too, flow was nice, and i thought the structure and points made in this were perfect, nice drop as usual

cuz i like making it into the om hof every month. it's something i strive for.. i try to write at least one dope piece for that reason.

very nice drop. i liked how the second lines of every bar ended as a question, it made it a more interesting piece, if u ask me. dope structure and flow. i like how you went against your own topic. Like how you question the topic, how you go "if time is money ...?" i liked that. nice job.
