    The World Today-Talon

    Threads I Replied To:
    SS: No Tomorrow- The Realist
Keys ft. Big Daddy Kane, The LOX and Jae Hood-Keys aka Vital
Mind Theory (warning, is very long)-wogzta

    Open Mic:

Caught in a mindless slumber days are numbered
People are running for cover plummeted under
The convenience of society inequality is reality
Sin is done tactfully where all good is evil, naturally
The million dollar question there’s no real point to mention
The stress and the tension that accompanies life’s lessons
How can we ask when we have yet to comprehend
That the depths of our problems lay beneath the soul within
Satan is now kin complete monopoly, democracy
Hostility is rampant but no one’s seeing this hypocrisy
Where we choose to abide under one truth, the word of God
And pray to the Heavens to seek shelter under his laws
Then he turns his back and we resort to this nonsense
Of gats, knives, suicide, homicides, bloodshed is dominant
Politics lack common sense our country is still at war
But not with previous foes we’re at combat with our own
How can he promote peace and serenity, the U.S. is out of hand
I’m looking at this carefully but death is consuming our land
We can stop the tanks and bombs but can we stop kids who’re armed
Who go to school with nines and end lives, and yet see no real wrong
Or girls wanting to grow up to quick so at 10 they’re masked in make-up
If that wasn’t enough they hunt cats in need of having their jewels sucked
Society is poisoned by the ill will and falsehood of our own nation
Jesus crying beyond his gates for his own sin is his own creation
With no truths, no alibis, no time, futile minds, when will we realize?
The million-dollar question of our lives is: will we survive?

A well spoken, intellectual piece. I enjoyed it immensely. I tstarted out a little bit vague but the idea was definitely conveyed in the end. I give this a 9 on my personal scale of 1 to 10. But that's just my opinion.
