When your goin through school, like a fool you think life’s easy but its cruel
With hindsight I could begin to put right with experience’s tool
After leaving, for a while you do fuck, you pass the buck with a bit of luck
-A job’l fall on your lap, naïve thinkin, easy to fall in the trap
6 months later done shit, still hangin with my dawg’s smokin weed and getting pissed
-missed it in a blink, sitting staring thru the tunnel of my glass drink
time goes, i rose from nuthin to college, easy option but I didn’t acknowledge
half way thru the course I deferred it, preferred it getting up when I didn’t have to commit
flitt-n-it round, bit of that, bit of this, entertaining bland thoughts sittin inside, outside perpetual mist
-the abyss of my world full circle over and over like a rehearsal a commercial
showing my life dropping at the first hurdle
from 18 to 23 in a phase of negativ-ity but determined me to make the most of livin
back at college for good, willing, giving 100% til I meet the duration
don’t get me wrong havn’t ‘reformed’ my salvation, still pumpin my body with contamination
-I just split my world in 2, one climbing the ladder, the other hittin with my crew
-thru life’s lessons and blessings ive learnt its all a balance and the pivot is you

...and I like the concept...it was creative...but shit...I been outta school for a coupla yearz now and I still don't see shit that it's done for me...lol...
