This is my first song with a chours and all, dont sleep on this one hit me up with what ya think of it, i did it in about 20 mins or so.
The Seven days war cant go on anymore |
We gotta shove the past out the door |
So many dead bodies on the floor |
The Seven days war cant go on anymore |
The guns where lifted high, the month was July |
The day was the sixth when the war cry, was heard in the sky |
They seemed to be fighting for no reason, a simple treason of the heart |
A different view of the same review was tearing the two apart |
One side was white, ready to put up on hell of fight |
The other black, tired of getting dragged out into the night |
Why couldn't they get along? Who has the right to say who should belong? |
I stand on the white side, hands at my side not on the fight, I take a walk along |
The middle where the war is a stand still, getting a slight cold chill |
A single white person yelling a degrading word, skin crawling in me like he king of the hill |
The Seven days war cant go on anymore |
We gotta shove the past out the door |
So many dead bodies on the floor |
The Seven days war cant go on anymore |
I turn to my side, torn and worn pride a deep sigh for them |
I look to the other, a child sits his eyes a glisten like a gem |
He cries, as he tries to find out what the hating is for |
I frown and move to him, his tears continue to pour |
He don't want this 7 Days War to go on anymore |
A gun shot was heard, what occurred next was a sad time |
The boy was hit like a bird, a third one dead during this hellish crime |
I dropped down, a frown on my face, was the white race really such a disgrace? |
That they would add a little boy to the list of the slain? If I could I would replace |
My life for his own, I tried to stand but there was this pain in my bone |
I can only picture this kids family sitting alone |
The Seven days war cant go on anymore |
We gotta shove the past out the door |
So many dead bodies on the floor |
The Seven days war cant go on anymore |
The was coming to end, seven days long so many sent to heaven |
There was this young one by the name of Evan, picked up an AK 47 |
And with that sparked a new found hate for both sides towards the other |
One after another, turned on there sons and their mother, father and brother |
The war ended with blood shed, skies painted red as so many where now dead |
The path was led by the father of the killed boy, to the bed of the boy we all fled |
The mother placed her hands on her heart, begged the lord please |
She dropped to her knees, the rest went out to appease |
But they wouldn't hear or see of it as the turned and walked off |
With that the 7 Days War was done for now with a single cough |
The Seven days war cant go on anymore |
We gotta shove the past out the door |
So many dead bodies on the floor |
The Seven days war cant go on anymore |
Thats it, hit me up.
