I write for the purpose of life and higher meaning
Un-easing through my past I attempt weaning
Only when I stop to think about you do I feel at bay
A home is not a house without your easing sway

I am unconscious at heart and I felt left alone

With two roads standing before me, I frantically searched for a clue
As to which route to take, to set my emotions dead straight
It's sad how in modern society it seems so challenging to follow your heart true
That problem arose before me; Which road should I take? Love?..or hate?



Hate:

Hate? Hate..Ah, I knew this road had been subject my precense many times before...
Sadly, most times the path had not been thought out; was a quick, but major detour:

I gasped for breath as tears of envy and hate rapidly poured out my eyes
Results of the news that my so-called "girlfriend" had been sleeping with other guys
My eyesight became blurry, my cheeks turned scarlet, fueled by fury and shock
My heart began to beat uncontrolablly, overpowering the steady "tick-tock" of the clock


Rage plays its toll on my heart, causing hate to form anger; lingering from within
As frequent as it occurs, the rate of sin pinned to schedule, but then again
I strive to win this battle of me, from hatred my soul aches of past pains
The blood in my veins, and the simplest thoughts in my brain are the only remains


Love:


I'd tried this road before, but it seemed like it wasn't for me
Abused as a child, the good thing about this road I was yet to see
Not much to really say, for this emotion I could care less
I just fight to stiffle this emotion, to me it's just a pest

It's obviously evident: Two roads, or choices, firmly stood before me to determine my fate
I simply chose to bypass the road of love; while I quickly embraced the path of hate

Let me start off by saying this was a decent battle i was likingm both verse you both had interesting storylines and good vocab so let me go ahead and breakdown your verses

A.O.D
I liked your flow but the thing that i disliked was your vocabular you had a childlike vocabulary and i didnt like it because i know that you could of made your verse more complex and with the vocab you used it was less complex your verse didnt really grab my attention it was pretty boring but you had a good ender which kinda made up for the boringness in the beginign

I really liked your structure reason because i tried to make mine like that before in the past and i know that its real difficult to stay on topic with using a structure like that your verse was great and interesting which is always good it grabbed my attention and made me want to keep readong

^first of all. not my battle, but a flawless one at that. they'd both appreciate both of your opinions. and now for my vote ..

A.O.D. - very chill vibe off this. it's none like i've seen from you, different imo. when you battled me, you were more of a internal crazy hoe. but here, internals may not've even been possible with the line length. I feel you went against your stronger abilities and experimented here. The piece was nice, i like those double emotions in there. You used a large vocabulary as normal, and you pretty much did your thing. but i think that you should've stayed with your other style, and not gotten into this as much with this battle. overall good though.

Wireless - your outtake on the topic, was very grimey and gritty. your flow was REALLY choppy at times, but you stabled it back in time with the internals. your style here is almost like what i usually see from A.O.D. i think that your vocabulary could've been better ..the word "pest" in the end of that bar in there seemed really abbrupt and also like the wrong word to use. it was sketchy, but the outtake on the topic was MUCH better quality than A.O.D.'s ...

both of you did cool, & obviously it's two different styles and i know i have to recognize that as a up/down in this battle as well. great battle nontheless, i felt you both have done better, but overall ..good.

the winner, and my choice and reason. IS ...

v. Wireless, simply because of his storyline. He had a few gritty spots in the piece where it felloff, but still decent, AND he caught himself. A.O.D., i love your work, don't get me wrong, but this battle wasn't yours. You could've done SO MUCH better.

pz. i only took the time to do this, cuz i know how it is with these bullshit battles lol.
