Slow sighs of devotion plague commited anthems,
Crying laughter to himself, ridding himself of phantoms.
The looming smoke shrouds the deep grey sidewalk,
Shadows of victims trace his outline as he stalks.
The blurs slow, a manifestation of human ingenuity,
Cars speeding, rubber spinning, metals in fluidity.
Dipped headlights breach deep grey eyelashes,
Flickering erratically as feet suffer unnaturally violent thrashes.
The worn cotton of his hood slips gently from his crown,
Tears wipe away, metals amalgamate into an unsure frown.
Wheels swerve into square hexagonal implosions of creation,
