The loud noises scare him under da covers~he won't leave hiz room
these men cam into hiz home in da middle of da night
Mom & Dad were sleeping~had no chance to win da fight
He ran as fast as he could as to evade the fearful screams
That was 3 1/2 years ago and he still wakes up screamin from dreams
Bounced from home to home more broken then complete
suffered mad abuse under da hands of his "Father" while the "Mother" lay sleep
Grew Up not knowing love and even worst not knowing why
He once had a family~before ma, dad, and sis all died
cursed the Lord 4 leavin him in a fucked up situation
countless nights he laid awake cuz Suicide is what he was contemplatin
Fells like there's a war inside hiz brain and da devil's outdone GOD
Compassion beat outta him no spoilin of da child...just used da ROD
Stay strong young man don't despare tommorrows another day
He'll never forget the day when his real ma's sister came to take him away
now happiness overcomes him & no longer feeling blue
kept on prayin to da Lord and he made hiz dreams come true...

as the tears roll down this young orphan face
he/she thinkin why the fuck i gotta live this way
stuck in a fuckin shelter afraid of what they might do to me
keep a pocket knife by my bedside cause close by i keep my enemies
put myself in positions where i could end up in a grave
aint got nuthin to live for...moms aint want me, pops ran away
clown ass niggas boastin bout wat they got but in the situation as me
now i see why i almost commit suicide cause its like im seein the devil up close 3d
get on my knees for wat the lord put me in this world to suffer
beggin for him to save me like kells.....but my heart burning like usher
wen it rain it pours so wen the sun shine i pull the shade down
and listen to dat gangsta music like i grew up in the hood now
wrote my first verse it was titled welcome to my shelter
niggas dont wanna hear me but my thoughts is real on paper
alot aint walk in my shoes but trust they like aint glitter
the hood made u disgustin but the shelter made me bittter
