In this world, times are changing, nothing's the same
A lot more youth born worthless with nothing to gain
Some make out the struggle, now they rocking the bling
Who thought being from the hood would be a popular thing?
Children raised with guns, learning to kill for a living
Wishing for a break in life, it seems that nothing is giving
Now capital rules, the purpose for living has switched
Uncle Sam is the worst family, he ain't giving you shit
The president isn't respected, the laughing stock of the nation
While countries planning to kill us, u know that they hating
What in the world went wrong? The definition of justice
Has changed from doing right, to there's no one above us
Malcolm was the man, "By any means necessary" said he
But who knew a hate symbol could come from a bed sheet
I bet another Christian is dead before I finish this sentence
It's truly a shame how Christ's cross is so misrepresented

this made me ask myself "where are we heading" cos come to think of it one can only wonder that "is it really the end of time?" cos in our world today peace is an anonymous word to us......so i'd say your piece made me realise how valuable life is
