“All that comes into being is worthy of destruction.”
- Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, Mephistopheles
I stand in awe under heavenly armies near the Southern Crown,
On the outskirts further down away from these corrupt border towns,
A soulless foreigner bound upon a path trying to change past,
My shackles have been cast when you live unexpected with plague rats,
A deranged laugh fills my mind, traveling way beyond the fixed stars,
To quick for scimitars when I had abilities to trick Mars,
Against his sons, Panic and Pain, with their deadly antics, insane,
Tragic and strange, I walk aimlessly with a sense of drastic pain,
Felt the acid rain of betrayal , the thoughts of abandonment,
I can no longer stand it, gazing the alignment of planets,
Damn it… my spirit seems to dwell the nether twilight,
The hand of fate blocking my eyesight, this life I live seems finite,
Should I find a way to die right, for my kin has forsaken me,
Where is this path taking me? The depths of my soul has shaken thee,
Great ire has awaken me, when I repair this open seam,
Of broken dreams that subsides my inner image, a token gleams,
Within a growing beam of a nameless origin that exits with a loud gasp,
A crucifixion of an outcast, fulfills the prediction when stars are downcast,
Droughts pass on to verdant valleys, as I cross the apparent transition,
An errant transmission echoing through my essence now stands a vision,
Sands of memory has written my future into my “righteous” revelation,
Emerge as the last creation, as the infidels choke on their castigation,
Vitality of desolation will destroy empires and continents,
Each day I’m called a heretic but their close minded sights are obstinate,
Repugnant rulers build horrid monuments but they choose to mock me,
Unthinking and illogically they’ll soon fall to ploys so methodically,
Sorcery is what follows me as I pass through the gates as Mephistopheles.
“That I may detect the inmost force Which binds the world, and guides its course;”
