Lethal Lyricist League Magazine - Week 1
This Week's Battles
Mr W.Rite (1-0) vs. Kayohh (0-1)
This was a pretty good matchup. Both came with some good wordplay and personals.I enjoyed the battle and thought it was very close. Kayohh was stronger in his wordplay and personals, but Mr W.Rite had a couple of memorable ones himself. And he had some better metas. However, Mr W.Rite won with 100% of the votes.
Winner: Mr W.Rite
Nahlidge (0-1) vs. Boogie Man. (1-0)
This battle wasn't too great. Nahlidge came pretty weak but picked it up some in the end. Boogie Man. didn't exactly come dope, but he had some decent personals in his verse. Nahlidge had better multis, but this is more about punches and personals. Boogie Man. took this battle 5-2.
Winner: Boogie Man.
Ambiguous (1-0) vs. Judge. (0-1)
This battle wasn't too great. Judge. came quite weak in my opinion, judging from some of his past battles. It seems like he wasn't really trying very hard, and came with some pretty weak personals, metas, and punches. Ambiguous was better, but not up to his capability either. He had a few good punches and personals. Ambiguous took this battle 3-0.
Winner: Ambiguous
Baron Mynd. (1-0) (out of the league) vs. Sludge (0-1)
This battle wasn't too great. Baron Mynd. is capable of much better, but it wasn't really needed considering how Sludge came. He came with weak personals and punches, and needs to come stronger in the future. Baron Mynd. took this battle with 100% of the votes.
Winner: Baron Mynd.
Feeble Minded (1-0) vs. Formula Squared (0-1)
Formula Squared no-showed. Feeble Minded won by disqualification.
Winner: Feeble Minded
Phoenixx (0-1) vs. Meters (1-0)
Both came well in this battle. Meters had all the elements of a good verse, with metas, personals, punches, and wordplay. Phoenixx did good as well with a very witty verse, but most felt that he didn't come as strong as Meters. Meters won 13-3.
Winner: Meters
ILLunatic (1-0) vs. Slik Shadow (0-1)
Slik Shadow no-showed. ILLunatic won by disqualification.
Winner: ILLunatic
Born To Kill (0-1) vs. Brethren (1-0)
Born To Kill came pretty weak here, while Brethren came well. Born To Kill will need to come better in the next round. Brethren had some okay personals, okay wordplay, and good punches. Brethren won 100%.
Winner: Brethren
Chrit (1-0) vs. Young P (0-1)
Neither Chrit nor Young P came very strong in this battle. Chrit won, but barely, and both need to come harder. However, Chrit thought that it would be a no-show, and thus dropped a half-assed verse. Anyways, Chrit won 100%.
Winner: Chrit
KaZe (1-0) vs. Action (0-1)
Neither came very well. KaZe wasn't really that great with his verse but he had a few good lines. Action had some good concepts, but they weren't followed through hard enough. KaZe won 100%
Winner: KaZe
Jacent (0-1) vs. Macabre (1-0)
Jacent no-showed. Macabre won by disqualification.
Winner: Macabre
Fah Q (0-1) vs. Avalon (1-0)
Fah Q came okay in this battle. It was entertaining and he had some good metas and personals. It was a good verse, but Avalon came back with even better metas and personals to win this. He took this 100%
Winner: Avalon
RASCAL (0-1) vs. BribeOne (1-0)
Well, BribeOne came decent in this battle while RASCAL did not. For RASCAL, the flow was off, personals were decent, and he had bad rhyme scheme, but for BribeOne, it was good flow, rhyme scheme, and personals. And the lines were very stretched. Come more personal instead of just talkin' about ur opponent's name. BribeOne won this clearly with 100% of the votes.
Winner: BribeOne
Fathom (1-0) vs. Big Kountry (0-1)
Wow, not bad. Fathom came pretty dope there. Nice personals, metaphors, punches, flow, everything. On the other hand, Big Kountry came okay. It wasn't too strong of a verse, and a couple of times it seemed like you were dissing yourself! But you had one or two good personals and overall a pretty good verse. Yet, Fathom wins this 4-0.
Winner: Fathom
Blitzkrieger (0-1) vs. Mystery~murdera (1-0)
Hmmm.... Mystery~murdera came pretty dope while Blitkrieger came kinda weak. Mystery~murdera was very personal, and had many lines that made me laugh. Good metas and flow, and he verse was consistent throughout the verse. On the other hand, Blitzkrieger came weak compared to his capabilities. You just didn't come strong with your verse, like you weren't trying. Anyway, Mystery~murdera takes this completely.
Winner: Mystery~murdera
sdizzle (0-1) vs. SyaNidal (1-0)
Well, both came okay in this battle. sdizzle had a decent verse, but it wasn't anywhere near his level. Still, he had some good creativity and personals in his verse, and flow. SyaNidal had a good verse as well with very strong personals and metas. He came pretty strong here and deserved the win. SyaNidal won this 8-2.
Winner: SyaNidal
TruthZ (1-0) vs. SmokaJoka666 (0-1)
Sorry folks, but so much shit went down in his thread that I can't tell what happened. Right now, it SEEMS that TruthZ won by disqualification because SmokaJoka666 was late.
Winner: TruthZ
Token (1-0) vs. Ambitious (0-1)
This battle was pretty good, though it was said that neither was trying their best. Token had good flow and some real, real, nice personals. It was a fun read and very witty. Ambitious came with good metaphors and punches, but didn't come too personal. Anyways, good battle, and Token took this.
Winner: Token
Jay Pana (1-0) vs. Derive (0-1) (out of the league)
Jay Pana dropped, but Derive no-showed because he signed out of the league. Jay Pana wins by disqualification.
Winner: Jay Pana
EleMense (1-0) vs. Ace of Aces (0-1)
Ehhh... EleMense came okay in this battle, nothing spectacular. He had some okay concepts, punches, flow, and wordpaly. Okay verse on the whole. Ace of Aces had good vocab and some good personals, but was pretty lacking in the punches. EleMense won this clearly.
Winner: EleMense
Charisma (0-1) (Banned) vs. Jae Cyph (0-1) (out of league)
Both lose because Jae Cyph no-showed and Charisma's banned. I think Jae Cyph's out of the league but I'm not certain.
Winner: God... LOL
DeMiurgiC (1-0) vs. Angry~Cracka (0-1)
Angry~Cracka no-showed. DeMiurgiC wins by disqualification.
Winner: DeMiurgiC
Ca Ca Doo Doo (0-1) vs. $pitacular (1-0)
Both came pretty well here, and it was a pretty closed battle. I kne Ca Ca Doo Doo had to come pretty good if he's gonna name himself that... LOL... But good job here. Nice metas and punches from Ca Ca Doo Doo, and nice punches and personals from $pitacular. $pitacular wins this 5-4.
Winner: $pitacular
Stephen Mayfield (0-1) vs. Auspicious (1-0)
Haha, this was a good matchup. Stephen Mayfield came with some truly strong metas and wordplay, but his verse wasn't personal enough, and that's where Auspicious came hardest. Played on his name, his history on RB, everything. Auspicious took this 8-6.
Winner: Auspicious
God (1-0) vs. phiXion (0-1)
phiXion no-showed. God wins by disqualification.
Winner: God
((D.O.C.)) (0-1) vs. Figure Of Speech (0-1)
Both no showed. Both lose by disqualification.
Winner: God... Again!
Sureal (1-0) vs. The Drifter (0-1)
The Drifter no-showed. Sureal wins by disqualification.
Winner: Sureal
Aisle Phive (1-0) vs. versatility (0-1)
This battle was blah... Aisle Phive didn't even rhyme some of the time and had some weak personals, but versatility came as pure garbage. I'm sure both know that they need to come better. But Aisle Phive wins this.
Winner: Aisle Phive
21 Grams (0-1) vs. Com (1-0)
Both came half-assed here, but Com won this with a wittier verse with okay punches. 21 Grams had a lot of creativity, but nothing followed through to be a really effective punch. Com won this.
Winner: Com
