Im a modern day scrooge, I tell the kids that Santa don’t exist
Ya family gets the gifts, ‘really’ do you think down the chimney hes gonna fit?
Hes a fat git, there aint no reindeers or sleigh he steers
He Don’t live at the north pole, hes put on the payroll when the time nears!
Ya family visits, aunties and uncles ya haven’t seen all year
Bearing gifts, and best wishes.. lil kids faces, bringing grandma’s a tear
Its clear love is in the air, yuletide flavour floating everywhere
Not a care in the world, it stops for a day, everyone willing to share!
I wish relatives wouldn’t visit, they bore me shitless
I prefer my local, better banter, so they got my business
