you dont know what to tell me because you are truly an unintelligent individual, he openly admitted he didnt get multiple parts of my bar but you keep clinging onto hope that he did. the only time i complain someone didn't get something, is when they didn't.. keep coping if u must tho, u have a big pride problem

I can't ever remember this being an acceptable practice in the craft, mainstream or otherwise. I of course could be wrong but... that shit just doesn't fly, personally.

My personal take has always been that if you write something that people don't get, it's likely a wording issue or something of the sort. Of course there's always shit you may not get like if you say something from an old movie that someone hasn't seen or forgot about. I personally struggled with wording hard the last time I came back (see the battle Lay posted). I used to be a lot better with it but that shit is the hardest part of writing imo. Concepts aren't that hard compared to wording since you have to account for accents and different levels of understanding.

Nah man lol but not catching that Blas’ bar was a Lost reference is flat out wild ngl. It’s even more egregious when you admit having watched the show. I’ve truly never seen a single episode of that shit and immediately caught the reference and tie-ins. I’m not saying you’re talking specifically about that, but it def was not a wording issue. So if obvious stuff like that is getting by you or flying overhead then that’s pretty rough.

Yeah I mean, I was being dead ass with everything I said. That was my first time reading the battle.

When I read Wordz’ verse with the preexisting knowledge it won a season, I was thinking “damn how bad is other dude’s shit about to be??” I thought maybe it was a no show. But murda clearly had the better verse by a pretty wide margin. Looks like dude was here from another site, and shit around here musta been dead for a season finals to only get 7 total votes in the first place.


But I’m being very serious when I say that Smog and Fresh and them should be ashamed for their votes. Just inexcusable.

true that, it's happened to me before and I often think it's the reader but I try not to harp on it too much and instead think about how I could've done it better. Not saying everyone needs to be like that, I'm just more critical of the shit I write than others are about it. It's the fun of the hobby though.
