Pretty sure there were a handful of members who tried to buy it over the years but the owner wouldn't sell. This site could have been huge with this name. Like WSHH type shit.

Yeah I just recall back in the day when we had admins like Kris Cain, Opey, Avalon etc they always said strobe was the outright owner. Before any of the other current admins were admins. I assume strobe must still own it unless he sold it to someone else who’s currently admin and we just don’t know about it. Seems unlikely.

If you try to look up the domain registrar information, the owner has their identity masked/concealed through a 3rd party privacy protection LLC. So no way to know who strobe actually is, in order to make contact.

Feel like it was a mix of a bit of everything . Social media blew up. YouTube got bigger , a whole bunch of shit .. from old heads knockin new heads constantly . Everyones style was forced to change to what members were comfortable with short bar long bar etc , people got critiqued on shit they didnt understand fully and then would criticize others on things like “ the wording being off” without actually knowing what the phrase meant or what they were even criticizing lol , whole bunch of shit honestly lol the constant trolls that escaped from the lounges . I’ve literally never dabbled in them , was just here for the art . … but yeah it was sick for a long time lol I mean last year we had LLL going for like 8 weeks , that was dope

The live battle scene blew up in that time also, prob didn’t help text rap as a lot would have gravitated toward that instead. Plenty of the battle rappers worldwide were on text forums at one point or another.
