Steel tips fired past lips, blot out the light
I'm pissed off, when the barrage hits, block out your sight
I came equipped with the arrow storm, crafted into lines
Snort a couple, feel it in your marrow, force that's divine
I could explain it long words, but some might miss the meaning
How The Storyteller's back to make you jump and hit the ceiling
Still breathing, I took an axe to booze and smashed to grains of sand
I'm still weeded, naturally, and still grasp the upper hand
And all these puppets, Stans, still stealing scraps from my notebook
Cashing in on my cast-offs, one-liners, quotes, hooks
Don't look, it takes a face/off like Travolta and Cage
Or the Ark of the Covenant, lethal dose in a page
A quick sixteen paints a sick scene, I'm Dexter, you're Doakes
Surprise me, motherfucker? The end was already wrote
The trophy cabinets full, the records? A broken mirage
So quote the barrage, I'm out, gone to colonise mars
