Are there any battle rappers that actually still make battle rap music? I mean, there are a shitload of battle rappers who make music, but I'm just not into the shit they rap about. It's so far removed from their image as battle rappers that I actually hate listening to it because it ruins my opinion of them. I don't listen to Illmac because his content has nothing to do with what made me a fan of him in the first place. Same with Brizz Rawsteen. Rum Nitty. Hollow. Charron. There's Copywrite. He still does battle rap music and punchlines. But he's too infrequent. He drops singles and takes forever to release new albums. Canibus isn't much of a battle rapper anymore. Apathy is starting to flip recycled shit that sounded better years ago when he first wrote it than how he delivers it now. Chino is still a battle rapper. But again. He takes too long to drop new shit. He just released an album that was like, 5 or 6 tracks, somewhere around 30 minutes. And it took him years to get that done from his RICANstruction garbage. Oh yeah he did another 5 track EP. But some of that material leaked into his latest shit. Celph Titled raps about the same shit over and over again. Bazookas and shit. Plus he doesn't make that much music anymore. Vinnie Paz is getting played. I can't listen to his music more than an hour a week because if I do it all sounds the same as previous music he has released. RJ Payne is FIRE. Why can't there be more dudes like him?
It's hard af to find the kind of hip-hop I want to listen to. I'm tired of having to go back 20 years to listen to the shit that appeals to me. I'm still in to Underground Hip-Hop, but I listen to alot of blues rock, indie rock, and k-pop instead to get the euphoria I would normally get from a dope punchline.
I listened to this one underground rapper, from a group called Evil Intentions, after spending a lot of time goldmining Apple Music for battle rap-centric music and he word for word said this "I'm so ill I got AIDS scared to catch me". Lmfao. I mean come on.
Necro takes forever to drop. C Rayz is a convicted rapist. Eminem hasn't been Eminem since 1997. Jakki is old af now. Tonedeff makes shitty experimental beats. J-Zone doesn't have any new shit. Crooked I and Royce crossed over a long time ago and I stopped getting into their music. Diabolic is nice, but he takes forever to drop as well. DZK has never released an actual EP or album. Ill Christopher disappeared years ago. I have alot of his music from Soundclick. I have to listen to old GRB shit to get my fix, but even then it's like 2 minute tracks.

Lmao. Nah I'm still here guys. So in the last couple of days I picked up the 2024 versions of After Effects and Photoshop. This is the equivalent of getting a PS6 on day one and going hard on it for the first week or so. I have mags to upload and I want to get 2 more done for Art sometime today. And I will do the 1-2 MAG also if the week is ready to progress. I have alot of new features to play around with, and I'm downloading plug-ins and scripts that will help me to establish a quicker and more organized workflow.
