I went to another site 2016-2018 then we tried to revamp RB with a big event, leagues and tournaments a year or two ago. It gets active for a couple weeks or months then dies down again.

Each tourney could be topical themed, like one being regular battle, then gimmick, another telling one centralized story, another doing love joints, and then club jams or whatever.
