Yup.
Believe it or not, been doing this writing rhymes shit since 2000ish.
I never was really great at battling, so I'm still figuring that out. But verses and mechanics and stuff, been doin that part of it off and on for 18 years now almost.
But I never get writer's block, in my real life either (and I'm largely paid based on my writing more than anything else.)
My secret:
1. Pull up whatever you want to write. Like the doc or whatever.
2. Set a timer.
3. Clear everything else off the desk / computer.
4. Start the timer.
5. Wait.
You don't have to do anything. You don't have to write a masterpiece.
But the rules are you can't change the window and you can't get out of your chair.
So you can ignore the screen for 30 minutes or whatever if you want. But you can't just get up and leave.
After awhile, the magic happens: You just get bored.
You're looking at the screen when your mind starts to associate. Like huh, bet this would go here. Or bet this would be interesting if I said it this way, etc.
Once that's started you just follow it till the timer pops.
Boom. No more writer's block.

HOWEVER, trying to use past tense for present accolades is tough considering how much the game of text has evolved, feel me? But hey, stay active and maybe you just might be inducted, who knows.

My thoughts on EXT period = Strictly prohibited.
1-2 is 1 bar. If you can’t get 1 bar up with in minutes of thread going up, then quit.
Leagues provide 1 week to write a verse. If you can’t manage to write a verse in 30 minutes to and hour in the 72 hours provided, then quit.
Stop catering to these mangina faggots and start catering to those who truly make a difference, as far as meeting their deadlines and meeting/exceeding expectation.

I agree with you, and in theory, that's how it should be. But for people trying to keep a league alive in this time/era, sometimes they gotta make exceptions to keep the shit from dying.. fortunately right now it seems like we're on an up tick, we just gotta keep the momentum going and I fully intend to do everything I can to help. Even Lay is doing his thing, I know he was tired and facing wb last night but he still came through and dropped that extra 4.. if everyone steps up a little, this will def be the best season in maybe ever
