There are some good bars. And blue bayou is an animal.

But most of the shit here - my own shit included - just isn't good. It really isn't.

Like half of the votes YOU GUYS make are "Eh" on 50% of the bars.

I'm not hate voting. I vote on as many battles as I can, and I actively look for bars I like. Then I say what I like about them. And if i have constructive feedback I give it.

But most of the verses are literally 50% gun play 2 sports punchlines and 1 punchline I fucked your girlfriend. Feel free to replace one or both sports punches with I fucked your mom.

You guys have a literal system.

If I vote on your battle "angry" it's just me in character because how many times can you say, "Eh" without it being boring.

I'm doing it to have fun. Hopefully with you, if you had a sense of humor (which obviously no one in this league does.)

Honestly it isn't insulting. It's weird that having a regular conversation has to be predicated with this shit. You guys are touchy AF on this website.

I hear your point. My counter is that I get to vote in these battles. And if we drop written, non battle shit I probably write just as tight as you do. Hell, I make my living writing. Just not rap shit.

I think it should be pretty obvious there is a huge skill gap between some of the heads here and most of THE REST OF US. Not you guys, US. I'm not talking shit because I'm including myself in it.

If you can't even acknowledge that fact, you're just as bad as I am. Because you have left yourself no room for improvement.

I know I don't have the feel of the site. So there is probably a 20% swing left or right on what voters like and what I like. But still... it doesn't take a rocket science to tell most of the bars in MOST of the battles (mine included) are super played out or super weak.

I mean, half the battles are still gunplay or I fucked your girlfriend. What's more, there is barely any strong wordplay. And only two or three dudes have super clean multis.

There is a lot of room for improvement for EVERYONE.

But that's just my 2 cents.

I would be super open to someone walking me through a battle they think I "Missed" based on my votes. And showing me why some bars I thought were weak were actually fire.

I'm 100% down for someone to prove me wrong.

But I check the threads I vote on, after I vote on them. Sometimes - like Meth v King - the voters swing the other way. But that was a split decision. I would say roughly 80% of my votes here have been on the side that everyone else agrees with.
