I totally understand what you mean. I think the hardest hitting bars is when someone applies wordplay to a personal. My general point was just because someone flipped a name in a certain way for instance "daylyt" gets name flips to said to him every battle and as long as its something fresh people think its dope. Ive seen in just reading through a few battles on the frontlines today that just because someone flipped a name once every name flip said to that person is "played". Maybe I just checked out the wrong battles or maybe there is some dickriding going on since I haven't been on here since '07 and there ain't many people left here from that era where it didn't matter how many times a names been flipped as long as it was fresh it got props. I can't remember my password to my old account wish I did so I could just use that cause the "newbie" perception sometimes hands you the lose off the bat as well as someone whos been a member for years with 12313241234 posts gets love just off that even if what they said was wack.

Understandable, but how is someone to know that they're played if they haven't gone out their way to go through each and every battle their opponents been in? Like our battle I should of known there had to be a play on your name a million times and in the back of my mind I kind of did but as someone who hasn't text battled since around your join date how would I or anyone in the same position know what would be fresh and what wouldn't be as a name flip? Take your Nip Tuck bar for example. Because no one has seen it done because it was my first battle under this account it got props but I had a Tuckz account 8 years ago where the same scheme was said but because it was so long ago nobody knew it had been done before n therefore wasn't considered played. In the end the point I was making that personal worded the right way hits harder than crazy wordplay in the front lines at least.
This is pretty easy to answer. The first flip u think of most everyone else prob thought of it first too, nahmean? So try rewriting and flipping ur line a few times. I tell everyone never go with the first way u write it. Thats always my rough draft then I flip it till I'm happy with it n don't think it'll get any better. Usually you'll think of new lines out of this process as well. If ur not happy with how its turning out just scrap the concept.
Word I feel you cause that's exactly what I did n like I said I made a mistake n should of known it'd been used before someway close enough to be considered played
Go read some LLL HoF battles and FL HoF battles. You'll get a feel for it.
