@Baron Mynd . I hear you and I'm all for fair trial, innocent until proven, etc. But what type of investigation can really take place? If the IPs are the same then that should be it right? I'm sure there are ways to mask or change an IP if you're tech savy enough but I'd be surprised if anyone is that vindictive. Dagel was the punchline of alot of jokes, but I don't think he ever had any legitimate enemies.

I hate myself for bringing this up, but what happened in Ledgenz case? How was that determined, based on IP or what?

I just figure, if he did do it, then why now? Why would this sad, pathetic, lonely human being with a long history of writing short stories/poetry/topicals/open mics as his only outlet etc - suddenly decide to bite from elsewhere? He had obviously been at this hobby YEARS. His life was these forums. He would have seen a hundred newbs bite and eventually get caught out, even mods here. Admins here. No one can bite from people at the highest level and not have it noticed by someone, somewhere, at some point. When you reach a certain level, peoples styles etc are recognizable. You can tell who wrote what. Dagel wasn't a newb. He must have knew this. You can read a verse by me and KNOW that I wrote that shit, even if my name wasn't attached to it. Same with dead man etc. He didn't try to hide it.

100% agree. My thoughts are that most people who get caught, it typically isn't their first time, statistically. Maybe it just wasn't noticed before. I mean, I don't plug in every poem or OM I read here into google to make sure it doesn't pop up on any other boards you know? We're not professors lol. The guy had alot going on in life, 2 kids I think and moving into his first place as an adult. The pressure to perform gets to people I guess and they take shortcuts. Sad really. He contributed alot to RB outside of writing and invested a good amount of time into the site. The latest mag he did in PS is case in point. Inexcusable regardless. I'd say let him on the site to bullshit and freepost if he has the courage to face the transgressions, but not post any writings or compete. But I'm not sure if you can ban someone just from certain sections of the forum or not.
