it happened in my last battle..it finnally got enough polled votes after 7-8 ppl voted for me lol...but just looking around different battles i see mad votes but no polls. u gotta have some patience, the poll works u just gotta wait 30 seconds for it to settle and load and update the poll. 30 seconds it took for me, i know their slow and all fucked up but polls are important. votes are pretty much worthless in FL without polling ur vote or it wont get closed for the most part. its just annoying to have battles with enough votes to be done but continue to sit for a week or more cuz forgotten polls.

i double clicked the select bubble on the poll and it made it speed up, yea im sure its different for each and every person, ur right lol. but just thought id throw it out there to help speed battles up by polling votes. and i find the RBCT blue and red skins to be fastest out of all the other ones, again, it could just be me but definitely my favorites look wise and speed wise. the others seem to slow a lot down.
