Bad battle. This was not a champ match by any means. Rosetti had lots of personals, but they were all just statements/not creative at all. Mordy had some statements as well, but at least he went for some concepts. Most were crap, but I saw 2 with potential. Brushstroke & surfaced/closer.. had they been worded a bit better, they could have been good.
So yeah, both were weak but Mordy had a couple decent attempts.

Battle was good. Each MC stood strong in different lights. Rosetti, I saw an extreme absence in punch material but a good presence of personals and general writing. To elaborate, I enjoyed the personal aspect of your verse, but it takes more than that to win battles. Something either has to have humor or punch-power (or both) to really put it over the top... didn't really see that here. Mordy, you were the other side of the card. You seemed to gear towards concepts and I saw blips of it in your material, but there weren't really that strong or hard-hitting. Punches were a bit artificial and lacked substance. Wording was alright. Overall, I am leaning towards Rosetti solely because Mordy couldn't provide a strong enough dose of what Rosetti lacked, which was the punch aspect. He too was kinda of weak on that. However, the personal aspect was real strong and I enjoyed how it was composed throughout the verse. My advice to Rosetti would be to build on these skills and try to craft punch material from it for a more solid foundation.

This wasn't that great of a battle tbh. But at the end of the day, rosetti had some harder hitting punches and kept it a little bit more consistent than mordy as well, and that is why he gets my vote.

Overall, Rosetti was more focused on the "Bite" which extremely hurt his verse. One or two bars referencing the "bite" would have sufficed, but 6 bars total made each one sting less and less. Both had consistencies but I feel Rosetti hurt himself sticking to one punch while Mordycai at least took jabs in different aspects. This is by far a pitiful Final for a FL Tournament and is a prime example of why this should be the last.

Rosetti actually had basis behind his stuff. Mordycai's verse was as uninspired as one of mine... and I'm a terrible text battler. Good battle verses include things that may have actually occurred as personalized punches. This is where the seperation comes in

@Dadiator explain a little more please...punchs/flow/wording/delivery/setups <mention some of these things..its 4-4 in a champ match, i want the final vote to be more explained.. as it is the deciding vote

Punches- Rosettis were more effective due to their relevance to actual events. Mordycai's were of theoretical threats that were generic. The theme of Rosetti was the huge deciding factor here.
Writing- both were written in a somewhat basic form. Mediocre spelling and grammar was used.
Flow- The writing structure of both were acceptable. No special techniques were used.
This battle was fairly similar save for the content. But Rosetti knew what was a deeply infuriating incident for Mordycai and attacked it steadily... which is what made for the winning touch.
Vote... again....
