    I was just in London a couple of weeks ago and was hearing some UK hip hop tracks in the background in stores and stuff... was going to come on here and ask what are some good artists to check out but it seems the OP already answered that for me... thank you! Will check some of these out... looking for ones that rap about meaningful stuff and not idiotic "my car is better than yours and has more women in it and now I'm going to shoot you" stuff.

    I'm listening to Wiley lately, sometimes his voice gets to me, but I like the flow, and his new joint they play over here in Australia Numbers in Action is catchy as hell.

    if were talking about commonly known U.K artists then there pretty poor in sense of lyrics/ meaning....
    like Pro Green... I like his music and he actually does have some meaningful stuff too but his lyrics are very bland and his flow is always the same. tinchy.. meh, dappy/ N.dubz they actually have good content and good meaning in alot of there stuff, but is ruined by the 'nananaiiii's' and shit. chipmunk, meh.. tinie tempah, pointless content but some good lyrics

    Yeah I liked 2 of there songs but that's it, and it was really only the music in those 2 songs I liked!

    amen professor green is terrible...dont one wack fuck ruin your whole perception of what they got overseas. there are some real ill artists out there. i listed some in my first post. jehst has been killing it over in the UK for over ten years, same with Taskforce (chester p & farmer g) chester p has some ill shit, he is also best known for battling and beating common. rhyme asylum are dropping some heavy shit also. lowkey, childern of the damned etc..there are dozens, you just gotta search for it
