LLL Week 10 Magazing Introduction

Wassup fellas.. a couple pretty cool battles this week, with a bunch of damn no shows..Nice of you guys to make the reviews easy on me though lol, anyway..Show the fuck up if you sign in or get the fuck out…Otherwise there’s been a constant flow of dope sign ins the last couple of weeks and we got a couple more this week with Evolve showing his face and Kami signing in from NC, add them to the normal RB top heads and the recent sign ins of Hush,Phly,Spit,Chrit,Meters,Orc,and Beyond and we gotta pretty ridiculous league on our hands…On another note, overall alotta dudes were kind of off this week IMO…People didn’t drop up to par and seemed like you guys rushed your verses out (me included)… Another thing, this week I pretty much stayed on point with matching up dudes with similar records but started to stray off from it a bit.. Makes for some more interesting matchups and also prevents rematching people for the most part..also the top 10 is dropped from here on out.. basically because we were battling the same dudes over and over.. and shit was getting redundant, so I’m gonna try to mix shit up as much as the records let me so word…Anyway im type hungover right now so on to the mag

Coulda been some dope shit here, these dudes battled numerous times and idk if that had a part to play in GOW’s not showing up but yeah.. Quote wins by no show

Philly(3-1) vs Black Mask(3-3)

Another opportunity for a sick battle.. Philly dropped a nice verse, but Mask didn’t drop a verse at all..Philly wins by no show

RicanTheorys(3-5) vs Rupture(2-2)

Double no show

Allen Knight(4-3) vs Bong(4-3)

Bong wins via no show

Spitacular(1-0) vs Mafioso(1-1)

Maf wins via no show

Bags(0-0) vs Meth(1-5)

Bags wins via no show

Cred(1-1) vs Catastrophy(1-2)

Cred wins via no show

TayTay(0-0) vs Meks(0-0)

Meks wins via no show

Hush(0-0) vs Phlymo(0-0)

Both could have made this one for the books if they had come with more than 10 but it still didn’t disappoint…Aside from the little issue of the extra bar on Phly’s part this was cool little battle here, they didn’t come crazy hard, dudes both still brought it..Hush had the Phly on the wall play along with the PH level, both pretty nasty.. and Phly boy had the Falsetto WP and the rump a pump lines which were his standouts.. Votes were back and forth in this one but in the end Hush took it by a couple of votes.

Flash(4-4) vs MV(4-4)

Considering these dudes just battled 2 weeks ago I think, they both came pretty decent in their battle.. These dudes are both a couple of tweaks away of becoming real contenders in this league and I like reading verses from both, as Flash always comes with some creative wordplay that surprises me and MV puts some ill concepts down as well.. This time around I think they were both on point but Flash just had the edge and the voters thought so too.. Flash won by landslide

Alphabet(4-1) vs Megatron(4-2)

Decent matchup here. Mega’s coming off 2 harsh beatings from King and GOW should of came in here to show everybody that he could hang in the LLL but he keeps proving otherwise, his verse wasn’t that bad at all IMO but the fact remains that he’s just not grabbing any votes. Alpha came pretty legit here as he’s been doing recently, and he won over the voters by landslide

Orc(0-2) vs Beyond(0-1)

Really wish dudes went more than 10 here, dudes are a couple of the best known text heads at the moment and this coulda been a crazy battle and one for the HOF is they put the effort forth. Not to say they didn’t bring heat because they both did.. Dudes were pretty evenly matched in this one and it really could have gone both ways but I guess everybody thought that Orc edged it, including myself.. In the end Orc took it by landslide

Lethargic(3-3) vs Vinzr(3-5)

Decent battle here, both are struggling to keep up here and their falling in the middle range with their records. Leth hasn’t really been around at all and he’s still shaking that rust and trying to find his style again. He did come with some played concepts on Vin like the down under, and the repo/Vin concept. Still Vinzr came pretty mediocre and had a couple of nice attempts but nothing really hard hitting. Leth got all the votes in this one

Gwapfather(5-3) vs ArchDevil(5-3)

I usually like reading shit from these dudes, but I was kinda disappointed this week. Maybe cuz they just recently both battled each other and I know what it feels like to force stuff out for the same opponent that you just recently battled but either way they should have mustered up some stronger shit. The majority of voters were feeling Gwap over AD, and he grabbed the wins handily

Cbj(1-1) vs Jizzy(1-0)

Close middle tier battle here. They both came decent and Jizzy is somebody who came outta nowhere as far as I can tell and he isn’t bad… has a good amount of polishing to do but with some work on his concepts I can see him progressing well if he sticks around. Cbj’s been around for a while and pretty much has always been mid tier. Sometimes he comes with stuff that surprises me and sometimes he’s just lackluster, he came decent here and he took it by a real slim margain ina close one.

1. The Archetype

Arch moves into the number one spot this week in my eyes. He’s been droping straight flames as of late, seems like he stopped that streak of not giving a fuck and bullshitting around with his style. He’s really come back with a vengeance if you ask me and he’s champed 2 weeks straight now against me and King, two top tier heads and he pretty much beat us by a good amount in votes. Its no secret that dude’s been doing this forever and he’s finally back up top where he belongs IMO, expect some more good things from him this week against Quote, could really go either way.. should be sick

2. Quote

Tokens a beast, he pretty much always has been.. He’s always a force in any league and is a favorite to champ in pretty much everything he competes in. He’s coming off a no show win against gow, and a dominating win against Cry the week before that. There’s not much to be said about him that isn’t already known, he gets a shot at the title again this week and could very well snatch that belt from Arch.

3. King

King’s just nasty, his personal based style hits hard as fuck and dude connects with viscous haymakers throughout his battles. He had a close battle with Arch last week which imo could have gone either way, keep in mind these dudes have battled each other numerous times and at a certain point people just start lacking material on opponents. Dude can champ at any given time and beat everybody on the sight when he’s on point, which is pretty much all the time. Coming off a loss, I feel bad for his opponent this week.. I see him coming hard as fuck..

4. Hush

If Hush stays signed in he can champ, period. We don’t get along but that doesn’t take away from the fact that dude is dope. He’s beat a who’s who list of the best text heads on the net and can take the league by storm if he chooses. He’s coming off a tight win against Phlymo, and is looking to get on a roll here.. Competition is good between the heads with lower records cuz of all the newer sign ins, so he can’t coast up by any means, but will hafto work his way up.. which he should have no problem doing

5.Orc

Orcster’s pretty much in the same boat as Hush. He’s undeniably straight nasty and can pretty much beat anybody if he puts his mind to it. Question is will he stick around long enough to put a dent in the top tier dudes’ records, it’s not like it’s a free ride by any means but I see him champing at some point before to long. He no showed twice, and has blemishes on his record do to that, but he’s coming off a strong win over Bey, and should bring nothing but heat from here on out

6. Phlymo

Phly’s a beast, he’s an RB legend and his wordplay is just off the charts. I think dude does so well because he’s mad smart lmao.. I literally have to google words in his verse and then come back to battle n b like damn that was dope as fuck. He’s riding out a tough loss against Hush, which shouldn’t really say much about anything, being that Hush is dope and that battle could have gone either way. Phly’s a huge threat, and he brings fire, he’s at number 6 just because he hasn’t had as many battles as some of the dudes up there^

7. Beyond

Beyond is just Beyond rofl.. he’s arguably one of the best longbar heads to grace the net. And after converting to short bar, he’s still considered one of the best… I’ve known Bey for a long fuckin time from many sites ago, and dude has pretty much always been dope. He’s a top NC head and he’s just nasty, dude’s a seasoned vet and can take out pretty much anybody on any given day. If Bey sticks around and puts forth effort he’ll run through anybody

8. Meters

Meters seems to be finding his groove now. He beat Chrit handily and he’s dropping on par with what people were used to seeing from him, back in the day. I don’t have much to say about him at this point other than if he continues to shake rust and get back up to form that he can shake shit up for sure.

9. Chrit

Chrit’s chillin at number 9 for now after his loss to Meters. I personally liked his verse better, but it really wasn’t on the level of what I’m used to seeing from him.. He’s a smart dude and can drop some really creative concepts along with some complex wordplay. If Chrit gives a fuck he’ll be moving up the ranks, but it remains to be seen if he feels like putting the same effort into his verses than he does into the Cypher with Phly lol.

10. Alphabet

Alph is coming up strong. He’s chillin at 5-1 for a reason, he can hang with some good dudes, maybe not the best of the top tier but he’ll be there in no time the way he’s progressing now. He’s coming off a W off of Philly, and now another one off Megatron. He continues to prove that he’s a force in this league and that has landed him ina contendership match with myself. Expect nothing but fire from Alph this week, as he hasa shot ata champ match.

Champ Match

The Archetype(7-1) vs Quote(8-1)

These morons have been dropping heat lately and this should make for a sick battle, aside from the fact that these two have battled each other numerous times. There’s no question Toke wants to grab that belt again after losing it 3 weeks ago. He’s coming off a strong win over Cry, and should bring ill shit to the table as usual. Arch is no push over, he seems to have gained a full head of steam when it comes to texting, lately he was losing interest in it but has taken a new approach to writing and it seems to have been working for him. He beat King by a good amount, and beat me badly 2 weeks ago for the belt. I’m not sure he will keep the belt against Quote but it should be a close one.. In the end I have Quote taking it by some close shit… 60/40

Contender Match

Knux(7-2) vs Alphabet(5-1)

Knux has been a consistent top 10 emcee through out this LLL season, champing once over Token/Quote and had a solid showing with Arch, he just got off from a win over Cry, which was another solid battle, Alphabet got into the top 10 and just beat Mega, who some would say shouldn't have been in the Top 10, but it was still a solid battle and Alpha showed he can tussle wit the big kids, well mega was the smallest of the big kids, but he still showed heart lol, naw but I got Knux taking this one, no hate to Alpha but I don't think he is dropping consistently enough in his verses to beat Knux, Alpha has some really nice bars/concepts but they are mixed in with misses, if he can cut out the misses, he could make for a good showing, but I have Knux taking this one..80/20 (not done by me)

Megatron(4-3) vs Cbjbkd(2-1)

Mega should take this pretty comfortably. Cbj can come decent sometimes but I don’t think it can hold a candle to Mega. Megatron has had a rough couple of weeks, coming off an embarrassing loss to King 2 weeks ago, and another loss last week to I don’t remember who. Megatron brings some cool concepts he just struggles to connect them in a way they land hard.. I see Mega redeeming himself this week….Mega 80/20

MV(4-5) vs Vinzr(3-6)

I think MV can take this one pretty solidly. Vinzr has been showing improvement but idk if he can weather MV’s punches. MV just got beat up by Flash and is looking to come back hard I would think. Should be an easy battle for MV is he drops the way he’s been dropping lately. Vinz comes with some heat sometimes but he’s just not consistant enough for me to consider him in this one, good luck to both…. MV 70/30

Flash(5-4) vs Meters(3-0)

Should be a nice read here. Both dudes can really bring it, only question remains to be Flash’s consistency. Meters is shaking the rust rather quickly, coming off a strong win off Chrit, and continues to show us that he is the same Meters of old. Flash is rolling offa solid one sided win off MV and should come into this battle and show up for sure. I’m just not sure if he can hold it together against Meters, Flash is just a little to hit and miss for me.. although he does land some serious haymakers when he want..Meters will grab this one, 70/30

Gwap(5-3) vs Phlymo(0-1)

Could be some nice shit thrown around in this one. Gwaps coming off a win off ArchDevil, and Phly just took a hard loss from Hush. While both of these dudes can bring some heat I think Phly is just more seasoned in this one, and I don’t think Gwap can stand up to some of the creativity Phlyboy brings to some of his wordplay.. In the end I got Phly taking this pretty handily over Gwap….Phly 80/20

King(7-2) vs Orc(1-2)

Looking forward to this one. These two are a couple of the best battling at the moment and I hope to see some HOF worthy shit from these two ugly ass faggots..This ones really hard to call tbh and I really cant predict a winner. King is pretty much my favorite text head to read and Orc comes in a close second.. This could really go either way depending on how focused Orc plans on being…I’m putting this one at 50/50

Bong(5-3) vs ArchDevil(5-4)

Last week Bong got no showed, and Devil got beat by Gwap. This one should be a cool read, both are polished dudes who can put together a pretty decent verse. Overall I think Arch is the better man here IMO.. but tbh it could go either way, the way I see it though AD is going to pull through in a close one… AD 60/40

Philly(4-1) vs Cry(5-3)

Cry’s coming off his 2nd loss to me *Sticks tongue out*, and Philly’s basically coming off a loss to alphabet, being that his last battle was a no show. Philly is looking to move his way up to the upper echelon of the league where he knows he belongs. Cry has been lingering around getting a champ match but has seemed to been falling short by just a little bit everytime. So be ready for some dope shit from two dudes with suttin to prove.. In the end I have Philly ina tight matchup 60/40

Joeboston(2-3) vs Cred(2-1)

Could be an okay matchup here between two mid tier guys. Joe boston has been coming harder lately and trying to prove that he belongs here in the LLL and can bring some decent shit. Cred is doing decent, hasn’t really had any real competition and is sitting at 2-1...I dont think Joe can geta W in this one but it is possible and I hope this preview sparks a fire in Joe, being that if he falls to 2-4 he could be in line for a boot match… Cred 70/30

Beyond(0-2) vs Chrit(2-1)

Another cool battle. Both of them are coming off of losses and should look to come hard as possible for 2 reasons. One being to redeem themselves after the L, and 2 being that these are top tier dudes that can bring straight heat.. they know what each other’s capable of and this one shouldn’t disappoint. In the end I have Beyond taking this in a close one 60/40

Mafioso(2-1) vs Hush(1-0)

Could be a pretty cool matchup here. Both dudes obviously know what their doing, and can throw some haymakers. In the end I think hush will be a little to much for Maf though.. Even though both are talented, Hushpuppy will take this 80/20

Killa Kami(0-0) vs Mr Wack(0-0)

Well it looks like Wack knows what he’s doing, but his concepts come off as basic to me.. He’s def not bad but does need some tweaking for sure. Tough matchup for his first week, but I think if he comes hard as possible he can make it interesting. Kami is seasoned, he’s a NC head and dude’s pretty dope. His style will do well on RB and I’m glad to see him signed into the LLL, if he sticks around he can definitely go far. Kami will take this battle by landslide 90/10

Cool to see Evolve signed in here, I know he used to be dope and we’ll see if he still got what it takes to make a run in LLL. Q is capable of making this a good battle, he knows whatsup and he knows what he needs to bring to win, I’ve seen him drop decent stuff, nothing outstanding IMO but he can deff throw together an okay verse. I guess we’ll see if an “ok “ verse is gonna be enough to put Evolve away here… this really comes down to how rust he is and how quickly he can jump back into shit, in the end I think he catches back on quick and takes this one… Evolve 70-30

Bags(1-0) vs Meks(1-0)

Could be a nice match here. I havent seen Meks drop before so i don't really know what to expect from him, seems as if he knows what he's doing and i've heard a couple of good things...If he can shake any rust before this match he should def get on that because Bags is no slouch and dude can bring it.I got Bags taking this one as far as I can tell 70/30
