I remember always reading lll battles with spit, feeble, m~m, you and jay just cuz ya'll were the hype of that time. I joined in 03 as Zeppelin. I was 10ish though and didnt wanna write. Just thought I had to make an account to read battles. Came back in 05 as Lil Thug and battled in fl. Shitty at 12 years old and haven't gotten much better other than concepts bettered.

A lot has changed. New style of battling these days. The concepts that'd 'woah' you and I back then bore these new(er) guys. I see lines that make me lol outloud and they call it wack. It's a street where we old rb folks live on one end. The new bloods on the other.

back in the day shit was just straight up more personal. there were mad crews and beefs and everybody had maaaad dirt on each other so we didn't need forced wordplay and a bunch of generic concepts because we'd just snuff each other out with nasty fucking personals. that's also why i see how a cat who wasn't around back then could read those battles and think shit's better now.. because most of the personals and crew shit goes over their heads. i mean fuck, doesn't anyone remember how serious shit used to get? lmao. i'ma go try to dig up those open mics spit and me did on each other. i know we dropped 2 fucking BOMBS each rofl
