listeners/fans kinda dictate what good music is - maybe at the loss of the musician sometimes, because it limits their creative ability..surely the musician aspires to make something the listeners/fans enjoy. i think artists should be measured by capacity of talent. you make one song, not everyone is feelin' it, and suddenly your ability is completely forgotten, when in reality, you've made a whole mess of dope tracks and can still make them.

i like to think that some people dont really have the right to opinion themselves on this topic, especially if they dont make music. they should appreciate that, at least, someone is making it - knowing that they havent been forced to listen.

cuz i'm dope, and anyone else saying otherwise can get the dick, cuz plenty more people enjoy listenin' to my music, signed or not. way more people tell me i'm nice, than not..and i respect their opinions more because me and my fans are like minded individuals, and those are the people i aim to entertain, achieving that is a testament that i'm doing something right..

the thing is... a artist can be humble all day, but if they TRULY feel something they did was fire... why can't they defend their work if they stand behind it?

are they supposed to just fold and agree? or brush it off?
i think alot of times humbleness is used as a cover for weakness, and lack of confidence.

I am cocky when someone needs to be humbled however
the majority of the time I remain humble because there are
other artist in my field that are better so for me to say

"My drawing is extremely good from concept , to composition"
and someone is telling me its been done before ..I can be proven
wrong

Just all depends on attitude, someone gets stupid with me and
calls me whack I wont say anything I will prove them wrong
with my skill...which I can honestly say no one has seen
what I really can do.
