This was interesting, Libb.

It had a real quaint feeling to it. Compressed in a fairly loose manner. The meaning i first got of it was a relationship where she is self centred, and never talks about anything but herself, and shallow things that are around her (well shallow or trivial).

But it seems like it's about life. A self-examination where you are the opposite of self centred. i.e. you talk and think of everyone and everything else but yourself. Possibly afraid to examine himself, and what's within him. It's all there, and he can do it. but he chooses not to.

But then the final meaning i got was...that 'it' all seems to be passing you by. while everyone else is being recognised, talked about, getting involved in stuff etc. etc. Whilst you remain on the outside. An observer looking in. But rarely/never actually in 'it'.
